Yup. That's right. Only 48 hours left for issue 3!

Hey all,
At least from the messages I've gotten from a few of you, it appears that the prints have finally begun arriving at your residences.
What I have been told, however, is that the postmark on these prints arriving, are postmarked from October 6th.
What I find astounding is that these prints started arriving that were "sent out months ago" amazingly begin to arrive just a few days after I filed a dispute on charges with my bank for services not rendered. It must be an equal coincidence that the postmark on these envelopes arriving is the day after that dispute was filed. It's weird how that works... isn't it?
(Since sarcasm doesn't always come through in print, I just want to let you know that the boldened paragraph above is just dripping with it.)
The point is, these prints that were supposedly sent back in July have started arriving. The offer still stands for those of you who don't receive them. I can still send them via the issue 3 Kickstarter. However, it looks as if this particular piece has finally been handled. It only took some drastic measures to get it done.
Just wanted to deliver that good news to you.

Regarding Prints

So, I've been in contact with the printer (Comic Impressions). They are insisting that the prints were sent out back during the summer when I had told you guys they were sent out. But seeing as no one has gotten them, I don't believe them. So, we have reached an impasse here with them.
Obviously, we aren't going to go with this company any longer for distribution of materials - just to set your mind at ease.
This doesn't get you those prints that you were promised, however.
So here is the problem as it stands. I don't have the prints, they were supposed to go to you guys straight from Comic Impressions. They say they don't have the prints, so I can't even get them. Which means, I would have to print them up elsewhere, and ship them to you myself. The problem with that is, that the costs of doing just that is astronomical. Just to print those prints will be about $400. And then while it adds a few extra cents to shipping it with the comics, to ship them alone will cost between $3 and $4 per package between the protective mailers and the postage. Which would equate to an additional $900-$1,200 to ship out to all of you backers. So, all in all, at minimum to ship these all to you myself would cost at least $1,300, if not close to $1,600. That's a lot.
So, one of you guys had a solution that I think will work. And as I am out of ideas (and out of ways to get these prints from the printer out to you guys (which, I might add, we have already paid for)) I think this is the best solution. But I do want to hear from you guys to tell me what you think.
As you know, we are launching issue 3 today. Essentially, the idea is that we will print up new prints and eat the cost, and ship them out along with issue 3. That will save all that extra money for the postage and materials, and with our new distributor, we can ensure that everyone would be getting the materials.
So, before we make that idea official, we do actually want to hear what you think.

Digital Prints

One of our backers suggested sending out digital prints. So that's what we're doing here.
We know this doesn't replace the physical ones, and our intention is still to get them out to you as we stated in the previous update. But hopefully some of you will enjoy this. So, no going off to Backerkit or anything. Just sending you a link to our Google Drive folder.
